HOW WE GOT HERE
Young love, really is the story. Our Co-Founders, Nima, a Persian Architect who fell in love with what was on the inside of a building, not just the outside; and Amberley, a travelling Aussie who, through Nima, found her way back to her 8 year old self that used to sit at the kitchen table drawing floorplans with colored pencils.
Some say, meant to be. But we think it was all the right worlds
beautifully colliding at the perfect moment.

Nima and Amberley's mission has been very clear from the start - to create spaces, of any size and any shape, deep with feeling and an authenticity - and love and respect for the people within them.
We take great pride in our work - for it is our absolute passion for creating that takes us places many would never have thought to go.

We have made great connections in both Canada and in our worldly travels, that has allowed us to truly provide for a variety of people - from commercial and residential developers, to single mums and growing families in their new home: we offer our passion to all who ask and all who enjoy it, based in our Home Studio in Vancouver, BC.

A story that began with Nima's Masters in Architecture in Turkey, started to collect chapters that became a very strong and beautiful story. House of NIMART now proudly offers Architectural Design, Interior Design, 3D Image Rendering and Animation - and we look to expand and progress on a few exciting things as our love for creation leads us (but we will keep those a little secret for now!).

FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR NIMA ASHOURI

Our (Co-)Founder and absolute CREATIVE GENIUS; Nima Ashouri.

He believes that "the true beauty in design is not really about how beautiful or aesthetic you can make a space, it's about little parts of yourself that you want to share with the world".

He designs on the premise that your space, be it the inside of a Cafe or Spa, or the exterior of your growing family's home, is about what you want to share and celebrate with others and yourself.

He has a true passion for Art, (that was how House Of NIMART started, after all) and loves to melt it into his modern and minimalist designs with subtle celebrations of personality.

Nima has both a Masters in Architecture and Interior Design Diploma and an incredible sense of style and understanding for what people need in a space and how to reach it with the right budget.

This perfectly compliments his experience in an incredible variety of projects; from a luxury Vancouver single family home, to a small condo in North Vancouver, and from a Private School in the Hills of West Vancouver, to a Dental clinic in Chilliwack.

He loves the challenge and possibilities of exploring new spaces and the research and collection of information that comes with it.

Nima grew up in the middle east and immigrated to Canada over 12 years ago - where he now shares both a life and business with his partner Amberley (and their pup "Monkey"!)
